I ordered a laptop last week, and it hasn't even arrived yet... then I see the same laptop, with the same configuration with a lower price. Should I bargain with support? Or refund and buy again? Or is it not worth the hassle?

I think that mostly depends on if the laptop you've bought has shipped or not.. If it has, you will most likely have to pay a restocking fee to return it. If it hasn't shipped, it's mostly up to you whether or not the time it would take to get the cheaper one is worth the money you would save.

Some stores will credit you the price difference if the price drops within a certain period after your purchase. For example, here is the online price guarantee of Best Buy:
"We will refund 100% of the difference if a price on our Web site is reduced within 30 days of the shipping, pickup or special delivery date (14 days for desktop computers, notebooks, monitors, printers, camcorders, digital cameras and radar detectors). This offer is good only on new in-the-box products of the same brand and model that are in stock online (offer does not apply to store availability)."

Wonder how long Lenovo's price guarentee is.

They don't have one, but if it's still early enough in the processing stage you can talk to the sales rep, have him cancel that order, and then reorder.

It just arrived. Is it too late now? Think it's possible to get a credit back like BestBuy? I ordered directly from Lenovo, if it makes any difference.
I should ask those in the Dell section how they deal with different sales each week... -

Call Lenovo. You just might be pleasantly surprised. Since it's an 800 # it only cost you a little time.

"We have a general 30 day price protection, therefore if you placed an order and within the 30 days the price of the system is reduced you should receive that price as well.
Please notat that this price protection does not qualify under the IBM/Lenovo Employee Website."
Lenovo's awesome... not so much the support hours (I live on the west coast while Lenovo's hours are EST... very inconvenient)... but this policy is great! -
That is a good standard policy. Lenovo do not fluctuate their prices nearly as much as Dell and other manufacturers, so they afford that nice policy.
Price drops?
