This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Thank you! I was worried the new T400 would be well out of my price range for a decent config. I only need a low end one, and I just priced a config for T61 for $900 after 10% discount. Now I see that while I won't get $900, I can spend ~$1300 (about what I had budgeted originally) and still get a decent T400, maybe even with ATI graphics. This makes me very happy.

    I do hope these are close to the prices we'll see online on tuesday.
