I'm running MS 2007 and for the life of me I cannot find the printer icon that will aloow me to print a paper. I've printed many times before but I have been back and forth between so many computers lately I misplaced this function. I don't see it under the Home tab or any other for that matter.
Thanks in advance!

Could do the old standby, Ctrl + P.
-
click on the 4 color ms icon in the extreme top left corner

I had the exact same problem...spent three hours before I could figure out that the big CIRCULAR thing in the upper right hand corner was the "start" menu for MS word. When in doubt CRTL+P as mentioned before

You don't have to click the round MS icon everytime you want to print your document. You can have the shortcut icon you are asking for.
Here's what you do:
You can add the printer icon to the small toolbar to the right of the round MS button.
The toolbar has 3 icons by default: Save, Undo and Redo. To the right of the toolbar there's a small arrow pointing downwards. Click on that and you will be given the option to add more icons to the aforementioned toolbar - such as Print and Print Preview.
I have attached a small screenshot of how my toolbar looks like after I have added several additional icons. If the standard list of icons/functions is not sufficient, there is an option to add even more.Attached Files:
