Hey guys, I was in the middle of updating my Comodo Firewall and my darn computer overheated and I was forced to shut it down manually. And when I turned it on, it gave me a message saying:

"You seem to be having COMODO Firewall Pro installed using olderversion of installer. Please go to 'Start->Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs' section and un-install Comodo Firewall."

The Comodo Firewall was not running and I cannot open it to run it again...

I went to the Add/Remove Prgrams section but cannot find Comodo Firewall as a selectable option anywhere. I even tried going into the program files manually and deleting everything in the "Comodo" folder, but the same issue persists. If anyone can let me know how to go about fixing this issue, that would be awesome! Thanks.

Did you delete the folder entirely? You should run a search for Comodo and delete anything that pertains to it and then try.

Boot into safe mode and uninstall it that way through add/remove programs. Deleting the folder does not uninstall a program. The program is still embedded into your registry.

I tried to uninstall it from safe mode, but under the add/remove programs window there was no selection for Comodo Firewall showup up anywhere. I will try getting a free software uninstaller program like the person above me suggested, but are there any other methods of going about this? Thanks.

Yeah, whenever I try to reinstall it, it says that I need to first uninstall it... but when I go to the Add/Remove programs, it is not even listed there... So I do not know exactly what I can do...
