Here's my original post before order
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=269927

Ok, now when I was trying to order my system, I saw a mistake in price. Take a look @ two first pictures that I took: one was email to me from Lenovo, and one on their website. The difference is the shipping fee. When I went to their website to order, they charged me shipping fee instead of free with 2 business days as I quoted. I tried to change it to ground shipping to see if I still got free of charge but no, it's even worst (picture 3): $1444.35 total  (tax was $103 for my $654 order  )

I called their customer service but it was closed already. I'm trying to chat with them but don't know how. I'm not sure what to do now because this the last day of my quoted. I need help!

Don't know what is going on, start over again. I have gotten numerous quotes from Lenovo and have ordered 2 systems from the quote. So it looks like you have a saved quote from lenovo and they sent you an email with the quote number correct? Did you click on the link in the quote email to order your machine? This is what you should do.

Yes I did. I tried again 3,4 times but it's still the same

I think I will order it and then call them later. If it's ok, I will ask them to add fingerprint instead of credit me back $20 shipping. Not sure if it's possible though

One last thing, there's an option called "Partial shipment options" in the picture. I don't know what's it about but the default options is "Ship each product as soon as it is available." It doesn't seem alright, but in the other hand I don't what to choose either.

    gnuh,
I am sorry I couldn't respond sooner. I went to bed. The Ship as they arrive option is the default and it is what I choose on my orders. What it means is that lets say that you ordered a laptop and then a mouse also at the same time, but the mouse was backordered and they had your laptop ready, they would ship out your laptop and then later ship out your mouse. Your laptop would not be held back just because the mouse was slow to ship.

I can't see your sequence of clicks but it looks like you are doing the correct procedure. I would make my quote and it was emailed to me. Then when I was ready to order I would click on the link in the email that brought me to my config. I entered my credit card number and then clicked order. Thats it. They have had problems with their site before, so it is possible that something on their site is screwed up. Even if you miss this deal, they are always having new ones, so it is not impossible to get another good deal. Don't know how difficult it is to order and then deal with their CS, never done that and I tried to avoid it.

    Thank you The Fire Snake!

I'm chatting with Lenovo CS right now. They have no problem credit me back the shipping fee, but I want the fingerprint feature anyway and add for about the same price. Just waiting for them to process it now.

    I'm engaged!!!

Yeah, everything's fine now. I chat with Lenovo CS in this morning and everything solved, however the lady only give me ground shipping but not 2 days shipping. I told her that I bought from CPP site and it was free for both ground shipping and 2 days shipping, but she thrown at me this: "We never have free 2 days shipping. If you want, you have to pay."

BTW, you know anything about this, The Fire Snake?

Good, looks like you got most everything you wanted. I don't understand the whole 2 days shipping is never free comment. Thats a lie. I got both my machines with free 2 day express shipping from UPS. Maybe she figured that you were getting such a good deal with CPP that she didn't want to give you anymore, who knows. I think you will love the machine! :)

I am sorry I don't know anything about the remote control in the express card slot.

Yeah, I know. I was laughing when seeing her response, lol. Anyway, I didn't want to bother her because she already helped me, beside, I had to go to class soon so I just didnt care.

BTW, I'm getting a R61, not T61p like you :) However, I'm suppose the quality is almost the same if not as good.

Thank you again The Fire Snake! You've been very helpful to me! :)
