    Hi,

I got a Thinkpad multi-burner pulled from a T4x machine, the same as the following:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/IBM-39T2676-39T2677-DVD-RW-Slim-DVD-Multi-Burner_W0QQitemZ250300003517QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPCC_Drives_Storage_Internal?hash=item3a470af4bd&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1546|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

I tried to use it with a USB (one usb for power, another for data) enclosure in order to work with X200. It deals with CDs ok, but cannot even read a movie DVD, let alone burning a DVD.

XP SP3 here. It shows up in device manager without problem: MATA DVD-RAM UJ-842 USB Device.

I heard some saying that it should show up as DVD-RW instead of DVD-RW in order to work. What shall I do to fix this?

    Thanks a lot!
