I just received my T400 today and I've been doing some cleaning and installing of new software. Everything has gone well except whenever I install COMODO and restart, I can't get past the login screen. I can't use the fingerprint scanner and when I try to login via password, the screen just freezes. I've tried it a few times and each time I was only able to log back in after doing a system restore to right before I installed COMODO. Any ideas on what this might be caused by?

What Comodo product are you using?
Do you get any error messages?
Have you tried an earlier version, perhaps?
    Are you using Vista?

These are all questions that need to be answered, please.

A few links to that *may* pertain to your issue:

My mistake, I'll clarify. It's Comodo firewall and I'm using the latest version on their site. I'm running Vista and there are no error messages, it just freezes up at the login splash screen.

I checked out Comodo's release notes and did not find anything similar to your issue being mentioned. It may be a bug, but I'm not sure.

I would recommend making sure that all other anti-spyware, anti-virus, and firewall solutions are off before trying the Comodo software again. Installing multiple security programs can lead to this kind of trouble.

EDIT: I included several Comodo forum links in my first post, but it seems that this one is the most promising:

Alright, I'll try that approach, thanks.

Turning off all of the other programs didn't work unfortunately. I welcome any more advice, and if nothing else, I'll check on the Comodo forums.

I have nothing to offer except confirmation that Comodo firewall works on my T400. Was fine on Win Vista with whatever version I had from two or three months ago, and I'm currently on Comodo 3.8.65951.477 on my T400 on Win7.
