Hi all,
I'm running Windows XP pro on my thinkpad and I'm trying to enable fast user switching. However, when I go into "change the way users log on or off," it is grayed out and a dialog box comes up saying that a
'recently installed program has disabled the welcome screen and fast user switching, To restore these features, you must uninstall the program. The following file name might help you identify the program that made the change: vrlogon.dll'
Through some googling, i saw some mention that it may have to do with the fingerprint software. Does anyone have an idea of what course of action to take in order to correct this? Thanks in advance
Craig

Uninstall the fingerprint software and fast user switching will work. However it is not worth it IMO. Why is FUS so important anyways?
