I have a T500 running Windows 7 Pro with drivers from lenovo beta page.

sometimes when i plug my headphones, the speakers are not getting deactivated. this is embarrassing problems like when i am in class or in the library :(

Hi, only received mine yesterday and running vista but in my smart audio app, it gives the option of using a classic setup in the audio director part or multistream. It sounds like you are using multi stream which allows headphones and speakers to work at the same time rather than the classic setup where the speakers are muted when the headphones are plugged in.
