    Problem with accessing Hidden Partitions

    i was wondering if anyone knew an easy way to access the hidden partitions on a thinkpad t60? i followed the steps in disabling the predesktop area in BIOS in order to view the partitions, but i dont see them. Any help would greatly be appreciated. thanks...btw i am running xp professional...

    ive actually spent some time looking it up on different forums and such, but no success....i called lenovo earlier and the guy tells me that there are 2 seperate hidden partitions, one from Lenovo and one from Microsoft..plus my laptop went ahead and backed itself up so now i have 3 "backups" that has taken up almost 20 GB total from my HD...

    try the trial version of "acronis disk director suite 10"

    from what I can remember,that's how I found the hidden partition on my older hp laptop

    If I remember correctly, I have been able to "see" the hidden partition by:

    ...using a Linux Live CD boot disk

    or

    ...Acronis Disk Director boot disk

    or

    ...booting up with the XP boot disk and clicking on "R" to go into native DOS
