Hello all. Just a quick question if anyone can help. I have a T60 which when attached to the docking station does not charge the battery, it only maintains the current battery state (i.e. it does not discharge but maintains the current "percentage" charge). I recently changed the HD and am now running XP SP3 (used to be SP2) - but I doubt that has anything to do with it. Other than that everthing else is fine. Any pointers would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance, d.

It should be charging. What did support have to say about it?

Hi Zaz. Thanks for the reply. Thats what I thought as it does not lose charge but it just will not go beyond the charge level which it has when attached. It charges fine when attached directly to the power cable (ie not via the docking station)

I bought the laptop off eBay so I'm not sure what support I can contact unless I bring it into a shop but I was hoping it was something simple and to tell the truth shop help here in the UK is frequently hopeless (so I'm told) so I would rather avoid.

    Thanks again for the response.
