This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    before I send back my T61, I'm thinking of maybe reformatting again with XP to see how that goes. Before I do, I wanted to conduct a poll similar to one that was posted by Spike229. This one will give us a better idea of how the T61 works with XP. By "problem-free" I mean no more Blank Screens of Death or any other noteable nuances in performance.

    I've installed Vista Enterprise and have nVIDIA; my T61 is problem-free.
