    We use Symantec Ghost to make images of all of our computers. I have never had a problem taking an image of any PC and pushing it back down to another PC of the same make/model except for these IBM Thinkpad R51's.

    After Ghosting, at bootup I get this error message:
    PCI Parity Error on BUS/DEVICE/FUNCTION 00F0H

    I have been unsuccessful at searching for an answer.

    I could never survive without either ghosting or Acronis! Saved my a_s so many times, I have lost count.

    I am also always screwing up my MBR. I didn't see MBR repair as part of the BootIt software features list.....How does that work?

    Sorry I guess I wasn't clear on that. BootIt seems to have lost the MBR repair feature on the latest build from what I read.
    I used the latest version and here is what I had to do.

    Once burned to CD, boot to CD which will ask you to load it on the hard drive.
    Once finished copying to HD, you'll pop out the CD and reboot on which it will boot into BootIt.
    Choose the Work with Partitions option.
    Then there is a View MBR button.
    Once in the MBR I had three selections listed;
    IEM_PRELOAD-0 (which was set as Active)
    MBR Entry 1
    Bootit EMBFM

    All I did was set the second option (MBR Entry 1) to Active.
    After that it would boot fine.

    After that I decided to try and push the Image back up and down again.
    I did do what was suggested on Lenovo support link and reghost the machine with the -IB command and ghost it back down again with the -IB command and this time it booted up just fine without having to mess w/ the MBR.
