dani_spain: sorry for being off-topic for a while but I do need to ask how you managed to install Windows XP Professional X64 on your t61. I tried once but could not find all the drivers so I had to go Vista again. Thanks in advance!

I assume english is not your first language?

We are asking how did you install Windows XP Professional x64 because it is difficult to find XPP x64 drivers.

System Update is one thing I chose not to install on my new system. I've had updates do really strange things. One time, I received a couple of updates that inactivated my system. The only thing that saved me were good backups. I learned from Lenovo support that microsoft had updates to protect people from that update.

Dani, did you consider Microsoft updates?
