    Hi,

    I have an HP psc 1610 xi printer and I'm trying to install it on a T60 but I'm having problems.

    When I insert the usb, instead of hearing one beep (new hardware beep), I hear two and it doesn't seem like it's recognized. When installing, it says to insert it OR set later and click 'finish'. It says installation was successfull but I see no HP printer software installed.

    anyone else have this type of problem? my usb mouse is working fine so I don't think any of the usb ports are damaged. I tried connecting printer on each of the 3 ports. Same two beeps, instead of one.
