The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Problems with FN+F9 and FN+SPACE on Windows 7

    I've installed the Hotkey drivers and they all work fine except for FN+F9 (EasyEject) which doesn't do anything and the FN+SPACE (Magnify) which works but it magnifies to full screen resolutions and not widescreen.

    Anyone having the same issues and know of fix?

    This is normal for Windows7.

    EasyEject has been discontinued for Windows7. The Lenovo magnifier has been replaced by Windows7's magnifier.

    I don't think there will be any "fix", as this is the new, desired functionality.
