This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I asked this a couple days ago and I thought another member might have figured out the issue but it turns out my computer is still not going to sleep on its own.

    I thought it was because I had a scan running in the background but I stopped it and nothing has changed. It was working and I don't remember doing anything specific before it stopped working.

    I have my computer set to power source optimized and even after 25 minutes the HDD is still spinning and it wont sleep on it's own. It will however turn the display off but thats as far as it gets.

    Any ideas?
