Using since now my X220 (i5 version with 8GB RAM, 320GB HDD and a 64GB mSATA SSD) for normal video editing with PowerDirector 10.

Now I need to edit 50GB of video material coming from three cam.

I need to upgrade my sw to PD12 to have multicam editing features, but what about hardware?

My options are limited to: upgrade RAM to max 16GB (about $270 here), buy a bigger 128GB SSD (about $90 or $180 for 256GB) or also create an external videocard solution (eGPU - about $390 using something like GTX660 or R9 270X card).

What can be the best investment?
