Hi, is there anyway to put a Rescue and Recovery partition after doing a clean install of XP on a Thinkpad T61.

I had to reformat and reinstall XP using my own XP Disc and in the process also had to remove the Rescue and Recovery partition. I had tried doing a recovery from the recovery partition before trying the disc's but that had failed so i just reformatted the entire HDD before using the Resuce Disc's. I had created disc's before but somehow they were not working for me as I kept getting an error saying that it could not find the file "convert.exe."

Finally I just did a clean install but I would like to avoid situations like these again where I have to reinstall XP as it takes a few hours so I want to try and use rescue and recovery with my current clean install to recover. Is that possible or would I have to use a separate program like Ghost or Acronis to do that. I like the idea of having a separate recovery partition with the image because it seems that would be a faster way to recover.

If I just reinstall the Rescue and Recovery software will that create a partition again but with my current install? Thx
