    Does it take less power than a regular HD?
    Anybody know if it supports TRIM command?

    They are currently half price!

    i'd buy the cheapest smallest hard drive they offer and put in your own intel ssd - whatever lenovo is using, it isn't intel, so kinda silly to spend that kind of money on an ssd if it isn't a good one

    They're using Samsung drives, so no TRIM command, but power consumption is roughly 25% less than that of HDD. From personal experience, my battery life jumps up 25% compared to with normal HDD.

    Not only Samsung SSDs, Toshiba drives as well... see for instance the latest review of T400s from Kevin or a few of other reviews on the web.
