    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has had any success in using the above mentioned wireless card in their X220.

I'm aware of the BIOS whitelist so I've tracked down a few eBay sellers who sell the Lenovo FRU 04W3814 card for about AUD$40.

    Technically it should work.

Now I don't know whether the X220 has a generic whitelist for FRU based cards or whether it specifically accepts certain models and FRU's.

    Any info would be great.

    Thanks

You'll still need a modded BIOS, since X220 predates the 7260AC card and the BIOS *will* bark at it, Lenovo-issued or not.

    Happy upgrading.

not sure if they worked it out yet but the 7260 has had tons of problems. I'd avoid it in general as there is a huge thread some where here about it.
