    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone is using Kingston's KHX1866C11S3P1K2/8G RAM kit with their X220.

Also as the SODIMMS are programmed to run at either 1333, 1600 or 1866Mhz, what speed does the RAM run on an X220?

    Thanks

    Rambler

I've got the 1600MHz modules which include a range of timings (which appear to cover 1866MHz):

There are actually more timings but CPU-z only shows the four fastest. SiSoftware Sandra reports:

    Timing @ 978MHz : 11-11-11-33 6-47-15-7
    Timing @ 889MHz : 10-10-10-30 5-43-13-7
    Timing @ 800MHz : 9-9-9-27 5-39-12-6
    Timing @ 711MHz : 8-8-8-24 4-34-11-5
    Timing @ 622MHz : 7-7-7-21 4-30-9-5
    Timing @ 533MHz : 6-6-6-18 3-26-8-4
    Timing @ 444MHz : 5-5-5-15 3-21-7-3
