I have a W520 with the Q1000M, I ran EVGA precision to play around with overclocking. But without overclocking it at all it's running 88-90 degrees Celsius under full load!?! Is that normal for that gpu? is there another program that I can use to confirm that reading?

I'd say that's definitely too hot. Are you using TPFanControl? If not, get it. Set it to fan level 64 for maximum cooling.

My Quadro 2000M doesn't go over 75 under any gaming. The CPU will touch 95 though. Using HWMonitor to watch the numbers.

As an aside, in my experience, the Quadro 2000M temperatures don't seem to change very much in gaming due to overclocking.

Thanks for the feedback! :) When I try to run that TPFanControl it gives me an error :(
WinIo Driver, winio.sys missing, but the file is right there...

Have you cleaned out all the fans/heatsink/heatfins of dust? Considered a repaste?

found a version of TPFanControl that works, kind of.. it goes back to BIOS control on its own :(

Might consider a repaste, think that'll make much of a difference?

a mere blowing into the grills to clear the dust makes for a huge difference, if dust does come out
