    Does it support HD veiwing like Blu-ray and will I be able to output 1080p if I hook it up to my TV.

    There's no such thing as 1280p, but yes to 1080p.

    You'll need an Advanced Mini Dock to output 1080p. Thinkpads don't have dvi out or hdmi. But the HP 8510p/w and 8710p/w do with their cards.
