So far I've only read one thread here about a fan going bad, and that was due to some sort of spill. I'm curious as to whether or not anyone else has had any problems with the fan, specifically people who use TPFan control.

I'm currently living in Pakistan and it is a very hot and humid place in the summer. Using that 64 setting in TPFan Control is a very attractive option for me, but I don't want to risk ruining it. I do manage to stay below 50C most of the time, with a fan speed of 7 in TPFan, but we'll see what happens in the next few months.

Is there anyone here who has used the 64 setting extensively without trouble?

    Thanks.
