Hello,
first: welcomeI'm new and glad to be here

I have a few questions concerning my T60 (Intel GMA, 2Gig Ram, 120 GB HDD, T2400 Core Duo, 14")
1) I use RMClock and now I tried to do some udnervolting tests. Up to now my laptop rans some hours with full speed at 0.95V ... somehow strange but Cpu-Z also shows 0.95V (though some other tools show the full frequency but perhaps they just read out the original one and not the currently set one??) ... Is it set right or not?? unanswered
2) Has anyone managed to set LCD brightness per profile in RMClock?? unanswered
3) I have the Intel 3945, but the signals are very very light and so I think of buying a new card. I read of the IntelĀ® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN and the Atheros AR5212 (or which one is the best of atheros??). Now, which one would you buy? Can I just replace my currect one or do I have to install some aerials because I read that the intel one has 3 ... unanswered
4) Which card do I have to buy. I mean, I look here: http://geizhals.at/a278691.html and is it really that cheap? Cause on ebay ( ebay.de link) it's much more expensive and the guy says in the auction that I need a special card (and not the OEM card) to be able to use it in my t60 ... Is that true??? What's about atheros card concerning this? unanswered
5) I want a new hdd. I want one which is about 250gb or bigger and really really silent. currecntly I have a fujitsu MHW2120BH and it should be clear if I buy a new one, should be more silent but I don't find really good tests on it ... further it should provide a tool that can make it more silent (acoustic management). I saw these ones:

what do you think of them? unanswered
Thanks in advance!

I don't use RMClock so no help there. There's no reason you can swap the cards. I have the 3945 card. I haven't had a problem with it. Maybe before swapping the card you should ask support if there's anything you can do to increase the signal strength. Making sure your router is positioned correctly, upgrading the cards drivers and/or the router's firmware might be worth a look.
I've had good luck with Seagate drives of late, but noise levels can vary from one drive to the next of the same model. Seems to be a bit of a crapshoot.
Question ... and about new Hardware: Wlan and HDD
