My new T61 should be arriving this week. I want to get a docking station for it.

Seems like the Advanced Mini Dock might be the right choice.

Question - looks like the dock has both VGA and DVI outputs on it. Can the T61 support a dual monitor setup using both of these monitor outputs at the same time?

Heck - can it do triple monitor support if I include the LCD on the T61?

    Appreciate any and all advice.

    Thanks

We deploy the T61 and advanced mini dock at work. Yes it can support two monitors using both the VG and DVI outputs. I'm not sure if you can use the laptop screen itself; might have to finagle with it and give that a try today

Does your laptop have the onboard X3100 video? If so, some of them don't have DVI passthrough I don't think. Check the Tabook in the stickey.
