    Hi there

Just got my new T520 (will do review soon!) I'm loving it

I installed an 80 gig Intel 310 mSATA using Lenovo restore media. Should I install The latest Intel RST driver for the SSD or should I leave it as it is.

If so how do I go about it? What abut the rapid boot driver?

    Thanks

Also for those interested I can confirm that the drive is properly aligned using the recovery media and also that it works fine using stock BIOS settings.

The RST driver adds TRIM support to certain RAID setups (a SSD and a HDD, not 2 SSDs). You won't gain/lose in performance. I don't know about the rapid boot. You may want to hold off on that until you find confirmation on whether it will work in your setup.

If you are running Windows 7, TRIM is already enabled for the Intel drives. RST is not needed.
