I have seen people on forums using the CPP discount and then using the Live.com to get an extra 10% in cashback. I know how to do the CPP discount but I do not know how to use the live.com cashback, can anyone help?

How do I sign into my live ID on Lenovo's website?

Thanks. I guess student discount is the only discount I could get with new X200. Not one coupon code seemed to have worked.

Damn.. I found one that works. But I cannot apply that to already placed order right? It seems like it's about $100 more cheaper than student discount.

Would I be able to apply CPP pricing via phone?

If not, I guess getting SSD does wonders..

I've been thinking that CPP is for corporates only, so I didn't even bother.

Many people have ordered via CPP online and I doubt they're corporates. The ordering process is no different than a neutral purchase.

wait... so we can double stack CPP and Live.com cashback? can we also add on fatwallet cashback?

to get live.com we just have to create an account and sign in and it should direct us, or ??

    thanks

So would I be able to call Lenovo and tell them the code in order to receive CPP price? My order is still in process at the moment. Estimated ship date is 8/21.

I don't know about CPP via phone. It may be a different process.

I don't think you can stack live cash back or fatwallet with the CPP because the ordering systems (regular and CPP) are not integrated. And Im pretty sure those sites don't get affiliate kick backs that way since it is a special purchasing portal. I tried to load the regular lenovo site for live cash back and then go to the CPP site (after I got the tracking cookie) and no rewards showed up for me.

Arkit3kt...The CPP rules you posted are old. Those are IBM rules from years ago. I talked to my friend at Lenovo again last night and CPP is open to everyone now...friends, family anyone.

She also told me the 25 system limit is now 50...lots of changes in CPP I guess.

    peace

I would expect it to not be product specific. Because you can look at stores through the list on Live Cash Back and then go directly to the front page of those stores. I assume it is just a general tracking cookie for your purchasing in the whole store. I just don't think CPP works because it isn't the exact same site when you order...and you are unable to navigate to it from the lenovo front page. I'm curious if the education portal would work though because you CAN get to that from the main page. I mean it is worth a shot to stack up the coupons because you can always cancel.

Sales representative asked who gave me the CPP code and the name of contractor. Couldn't get CPP discount done over the phone.

Oh well. If it's SLC 64GB SSD that I'm getting for free, that will do.

I ordered mine with student discount + 15% coupon....which is better than the CPP discount although CPP discount + coupon would have been better

I don't know which models you bought, but I don't think any coupon worked with X200. The sales rep said there is no workable coupon for X200 too.

The student discount is not better than the CPP. I looked at both and ended up using the CPP.

for a t400 I configured, student discount + 10% off was 15 dollars more expensive than the CPP (no coupon worked).

anyone find out a way to stack live.com with CPP or student discount? that would definitely make the best deal.

So. I'm free to use it. and nooooooobody will ever tell me> You bastard. You have used the CPP coupon without being A CPP aplicable person. Now you will suffer in the Lenovo Jails, with Roll Cage technology and Thinkvantage antiscape security!

    Or something like that

As has been stated before, providing a CPP code is against forum rules. Nobody here will tell you since we like coming here and don't want to upset the Moderators by breaking the rules.

You were smart enough to find this forum. I bet you're smart enough to find a CPP code with Google in less time than it takes to complain here about nobody giving it to you.

Lew, i didn't ask u for the coupon. I already searched and found it, it seems that u r right about my intelligence. And also, I didn't complain. I'm asking if there's no problem using it, because like u, I don't like to break the rules.

Also, I love this forum, as much as u.

The deal is just as good as the CPP deal, I have compared them both.

I clearly misunderstood your post and am glad you got it figured out.

The part "and nooooooobody will ever tell me" sure sounded like a complaint that nobody would tell you the code. I see now that you meant to quote the text following that part; the meaning of > symbol was not obvious at all.

You are free to use it online. What are they going to do? Perhaps not let your order go through? That's the worse case scenario.

I know this thread is old... hopefully someone'll see this, though. My question is this: If you buy a warranty through the CPP program, would they verify your CPP status before sending a replacement part?

They shouldn't; warranty is with the laptop, not the user. They don't know if someone sold you the computer or not.
