I think the 570E will fit my needs, but before I buy one on eBay, I need to know a couple of things.

First, I would like to be able to leave the UltraBase at home when taking the laptop on the road, but I need to be able to access wireless networks. Can the 570E do this when not on the UltraBase, IE., does the laptop have a slot for a wireless network card, or is that only available in the UltraBase?

Second, like the first question but sometimes as well as accessing a wireless network, sometimes I need to hook it up to a LAN, such as the types commonly found in hotel rooms (in case there is no wireless networks, only a LAN in the hotel room). So does the LAN plug into the laptop, or the UltraBase?
