Recently I noticed that the colours on my X201 have a bluish tinge as compared to what appears on my external monitor. The external monitor (Samsung Sunc Master B2030) displays a grayish hue, which appears to me to be better than the bluish tinge that the screen on the X201 displays.

Is there a way by which I can set the X201 screen to display colours and hues that resemble the grayish hues on the external monitor - even if not exactly the same then at least a closer approximation?

Thanks in advance for your help. If necessary I can post pics.

Yeah...I tried, but it still retains that bluish tinge. I wonder why though.

The non-IPS/FHD screens in my thinkpad's have always had a blue bias. I like that, makes text seem sharper. Maybe it's deliberate for that reason.

Most cheapo WLED screens have a blue bias (not saying x201 is a cheapo machine). Most users don't realize it as hey, default Windows background is blue.

Have you tried a professional solution like SpyderPro to calibrate your colors?

Oh...Ok. I liked it too, till I got used to the grayish bias on my external monitor. Is there a way to change to change the colour bianess on the external monitor?

    Thanks
