The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Several years ago there was a 'convert to quote' button on the order submitting page, it's no longer there. Is this still available maybe by phone or chat? If yes, for how many days will the quote remain effective? Thanks.

    I suggest you call and talk with a sales rep; you may get a price considerably less than what the website is showing, and the rep can tell you how long it will remain effective. I did. Of course, I have yet to get my computer, but I did get a good price...
