    Hi,

I was trying to re-install Windows XP on my T61 using a Dell WinXP CD but during setup (on the WinXP bluescreen), there was an error message saying that no hard disk was found, but there is a hard disk there. I tried it a couple times but the same thing happened. Can someone explain this to me?

    Thanks.

I'm not sure if this is going to work using the Dell OEM but maybe.

Change your BIOS SATA to Compatibilty to detect hard disc.
