Does lenovo ever try to verify that you are member of the national association of realtors? I didn't notice anything in the agreement contract that said "you have to be a nar member to get this discount."

Yes you do. I just got an e-mail from a sales representative asking for verification. (And I only made a price quote, didn't order)

The information they need is along the lines of...

    - Legal name of Company:
    - Billing Address and Phone Number
    - Years in business:
    - Number of employees:
    - Have you leased before?:
    - Dunn and Bradstreet number:
    - Federal tax i.d. number:

Great. Seems related to leasing though, I might have accidentally clicked on leasing options when making a quote.

But Lenovo could double-check if they felt compelled.

A friend of mine in the US bought an X61s using the NAR discount and stacking it with an additional coupon (I think the total discount was almost 40%). He is not a realtor and he was not subjected to any verification (he made an online order).

The CPP (Deepest Discount Offer) still seems to be working

but I have no idea if people who used the discount actually go their systems shipped

Ordered 10/29, shipped 11/02 from hong kong, its 11/04 and currently in kentucky (i am in new york). So from ordering with the CPP to having the laptop in my hands, should be about 8 days.
