    Greetings folks,

I'm new to this forum, but I've been following some of the topics here for quite some time and you guys are really awesome.

Anyway, I placed an order (t61p :D ) on April 14, and I just received an email from Lenovo saying that I have to register my Maintenance Service withing 30 days of the purchase. There's a form attached in the email which is required to be filled in with the machine type and serial number. The email asks me to send the form back and does not say what will happen if I don't. Actually I called CSR after I placed the order and was told the machine will be built in the first week of May :( .

My question is, if I missed the registration due date because of shipping delay, what would be the consequence? Will the service be void due to late registration or I will not be able to register at all? I'm a little worried about this and since their customer service does not open on weekends so I am hoping someone can answer this here...

    Thanks

btw, I'm in Canada, the service plan I bought is the 3 year thinkplus service.
