I ordered ThinkPad x200s last week. With basic configuration. I mean no finger security, no GPS, no Windows Vista Home premium could upgrade to Windows 7 and I really regret but that's too late
So I don't know could I upgrade ThinkPad laptop by any accessories or OS buy from Lenovo website ?
I see some topic sell finger cover for x200s and I confuse could my laptop can add it ? and other webcam ....
Could I install Windows Vista Home Premium/Ultimate Copyrighted(Only CD) and upgrade to Windows 7 without obstacles difficulty ? Because I see some topic tell about the problem about ThinkPad laptop after upgrade to Windows 7 without the manufacturer.
Could you tell me how to use Windows 7 without any problems with ThinkPad x200s ? I'm newbie and x200s didn't have optical drive to ghost or restore, so I confuse about upgrade and to ask your advice
Thanks
Tuan

you could try to call up Lenovo and say that you want to cancel your previous order, and place a new order instead with those parts added, this will save you the hassel of buying aftermarket parts.

But could I upgrade by from the parts of laptop. Is it easy ? -
you can buy the parts aftermarket, just bit more expensive otherwise.
The discs used on X200s should be similar to those W500, T400, R400, R500 and X200.... so if you buy it off someone else then it should be usable on your machine.. but you will need the external optical drive to use them obvoiusly.
