    So I know that I am not going to receive a vista install disc with my laptop and that is to be expected. The thing is I ordered office home and student edition and I am curious if I will be receiving an install disc for that or atleast some sort of product key/manual package. Anyone care to chime in and let me know what to expect?

    Yah you will get a install cd for the ms office, it should be preloaded also and you might have to activate it but thats about it.

    Excellent! I cannot wait to get my laptop now. This will be my second laptop and my second Thinkpad. I still have my old one somewhere.. its an ancient 486dx with 16mb ram! Things have definitely changed since then!
