I purchased 2 Z61t's back in Dec/Jan time. Both came with XP home and I plan to get Vista Home Premium for both. For the mail in rebate, do I need to buy two copies, one for each laptop? Or will just getting one work, since they base the upgrade off your old legal copy of XP? Can I place them on the same order or does it need to be submitted seperately?

First of all I'm pretty sure that XP Home only qualifies for Vista Basic, not Home Premium. Every upgrade I've seen only allows Media Center 2005 to upgrade to Home Premium. You will need (2) copies, and you will need to submit the seperatly. That is if you are talking about the free upgrade program, you should hurry though the last day you can submit them is soon or has already passed.

According to this link below, I need to purchase by the 15th of March. I need to submit by March 31st.

Click on "mail in rebate" link for the rebate form. My understanding is I'll get the rebate for the purchase price of either basic, or premium. Am I mistaken??
