Hi, I was considering between the Dell 12", Macbook, or the z61t. I like the thinkpad a lot, but when I checked one out in the store, the matte screen looked really dull and gave me second thoughts. I was wondering for people who have experience with the wxga+, which is now available for z61t, is it brighter than a matte screen, comparable to the dell and macbook glossy screens? Or is it still matte but finer resolution? If so, can I get an explanation on what the + means? Thanks.

"+" means it has a resolution of 1440×900(WXGA 1280×800). I don't know about the Z61t's screen but I saw the Z60t at office depot and I thought the screen was nice and bright.

LCD screen resolution and brightness is always a personal preference. I remember reading in of the threads here that the best way is to personally check the screen and compare it to others. Then choose whichever will be comfortable for you.
    just my two cents... :)
