    I have a question(s) on Lenovo's shipping.

1.) Why does it take Lenovo so long just to ship 1 item(such as the T61P)?

2.) From my purchasing experiences (macbook Pro and sony AR 17" model, and others..), i've gotten most of my notebooks in less than 1-2 weeks.

3.) how do they even make money if their shipping takes a long time??!

Supply and demand along with CTO options. Most anyone can just walk to a store and buy a notebook on the spot if needed, however a lot of people are willing to wait to get a config they want.

Well, I can understand that it's in high demand..I'm just confused on how LONG their shipping is, geez, months!! I'm not waiting that long, lol (even though they are good products).

It seriously can't be that slow, it just doesn't seem right, that some customers have to wait MONTHS (ex 1-3) for it.. -_-

Perhaps their main income is corporate orders?

Well I think you would find that most of the notebook they sell do ship out in a few weeks, and some even ship out in <7 days. Certain configs and product lines have had people waiting longer unfortunately.

Oh, ok, so, If I ordered a T61P right now as of (August 14, 2007) as an example...How long will it take to get to me.. if it's over 2 weeks, I might as well forget it. -_-
