    Hey,
    I think I'm about to pull the trigger on a new T61 due to the latest deal. However, I'm am a little concerned about the battery. The option is a default 6 cell and a 9 cell. Reading some of the other posts here the 6 cell juts out about an in....does that mean the 9 cell is going to be dangling off the back of the notebook?

    T61 owners, how do you like the unit?

    The 9 cell battery will stick out a little.

    The 6-cell battery doesn't stick out on the non-widescreen (4:3) models. If you want more battery but don't want it sticking out, you can get an ultrabay battery that adds about 3 cells.
