    Hello, I have two questions!

    1) I currently have the Lenovo Ultrabay Adapter 3( Amazon.com: Lenovo 40Y8725 Thinkpad Serial ATA Hard Drive Bay Adapter: Electronics. Will this work with Thinkpad T420? and will there be no gaps?

    2) If the T420 comes with Intel Centrino Advanced-n + Wimax 6250, then is there a way to replaced the Wimax card from the WWAN to make way for the msata ssd? Do I just unplug the Wimax card?

    Thank you guys!

That HDD adapter doesn't appear to be the correct one needed for the new ThinkPads. In fact, it appears to be several generations back.

The WiMax module you are referring to is the WLAN module not the WWAN module. Therefore, I believe the micro PCIE slot will be open and free when you receive the machine.

Yes, that is the correct HDD adaptor. To answer your question, it is only 9.5mm or so thick. The T420 bay is like the W520 and 12.7mm in height. Therefore there will be a gap.
