I have a few questions for any users of the T60 with the flexview screen. This one is very high on my list as a replacement for my 4yr old Dell Inspiron 8500.

    1. Laptop is for personal use and I use it on my lap rather than on a desk. After use does this machine get very hot, i.e. too hot to keep on your lap. My Dell gets so hot I need to insulate it.

    2. I do some photo editing which is why I am considering the Flexview screen. Although the glossy screens in the stores are appealing for their eye-popping colors I am afraid of too much glare. I know the viewing angle of the Flexview is supposed to be great but the resolution is lower than I would like for photo editing. Anyone out there use this for photoediting?

    3. My work laptop is an R42 with 14.1 inch screen. When I use it on my lap at home or while traveling I find it overbalances a bit and if my hands aren't on the keyboard it tends to fall over backwards. I would guess the larger 15" screen will be even worse. Has anyone found this to be an issue?

    Thanks for the help.

Running in low power mode if you can will help with the heat. None of my ThinkPads got so hot you couldn't use them on your lap.
