I finally made up my mind to buy my first ibm notebook!

    I will order either thinkpad z60m 252902u or 252904u.

Before i do i want to ask a couple of questions.

I know that the 8x dvd recordable that comes with these models can't write on Dual Layer discs. I want to know if it can read them. I have a desktop with a dvd dual layer burner and it would be nice if the dual layer movie discs i burned can be read on my new notebook.

And last which is better to get: 1) Ati radeon x300 or 2)Intel integrated graphics 900?

Thanks in advance for your replies!

DL - no idea. Might want to ask someone who owns a Z60m or a T43. I know for a fact that the burner on my T42 CANNOT write DVD+R but CAN read them, so there's hope.

Video cards - Radeon X300 is better.

There is the Panasonic UJ-832 which does DL discs. You can get them on eBay occasionally, but they are pricey.
