    Some questions...

1.) How many price quotes can you save? I have 2 possible configs I am looking at, and want to decide on one. I am not sure which one I want, but don't want to lose the sale ending tonight.

2.) How long is the price quote saved for?

3.) Once I take a price quote and want to order it, Lenovo will give me the exact machine I saved with the exact price, correct?

4.) If I create a price quote for a machine instead of buying it on the spot, am I obligated to buy the machine?

I think your most recent price quote is the only one that goes down for the record.

You have 30 days to decide on your most recent price quote. You don't have to buy it. You just get the 30 day price.

You can get as many quotes as you want.
There is no obligation to purchase anything.
It is sent as an email to anyone with a Lenovo account.
You do need an account to create a quote.

I did it with the guest account feature.

However an account was then made for me.

    It's simple to do.

Ok, I did the quote thingy and it worked fine, very cool. You can do it as guest, as you guys said but you need to pay with credit card or a few other payment types, not Paypal.

You guys say I can do as many quotes as I want, but I can only have one current one. The old quote is always replaced by the new, correct? Can I have a quote for a T61 and another for a T61P existing simultaneously?

As far as I know you can only keep one quote at a time. Not two.
You could probably make a quote for two items at the same time though. However I don't see the point.

Isn't one price quote enough if you only plan on buying one item? :p

I am only getting 1 thinkpad but I was planning on doing a quote for a T61 and another for a T61p and decide between the 2 in 30 days. Just so I have the price I want locked in and I have time to decide. Just a thought I had.

Anyone know for sure if you can only have 1 quote at a time?

I have several quotes right now.

AFAIK you can have as many as you want.
    Each quote contains a URL.
Click on the link and it takes your credit card information to convert the quote into an order.

Is it possible to pay via PayPal when you convert a price quote to an order?

    No.
    Credit cards only on quotes.

If you have a Paypal VISA debit card that uses your Paypal balance, you can accomplish the same thing.

On the question of more than one quote, this was in my quote email, but I'm not sure how to interpret:
"This quotation supersedes any previous written or verbal quotations from Lenovo and is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of this letter."

Probably just means one quote for an identically configured machine, if it even means that.
