Hi guys .. I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I'm eyeing Lenovo as my target brand ..

However I have a few questions to ask regarding Lenovo laptops:

    1) Do all Lenovo laptops suffer from screen issues, or just some specific series (e.g. Y50) ? Which series does NOT have screen issues ?

    2) Do Lenovo laptops overheat even the slighest under easy going usage (e.g. word processing, web browsing, etc.) ? I don't like laptops that get even moderately warm when even doing simple tasks ?

    3) Is there any Lenovo laptop series apart from the 'Y' series which has a 15.6" Full HD screen, a dedicated graphics card, and an i7 processor ?

I don't know what you mean by screen 'issues'. The Y50 screen doesn't have any issues AFAIK, it just has really crappy low-end TN panel. Poor viewing angles, bad color contrast and color spectrum coverage are to be expected.

Most Lenovo laptops don't have screen issues - neither of mine do.

    Nope neither of mine overheat.

W540 is just one option, there are more.
