I am in the market for a new laptop and 3 systems under consideration are the t500, w500, and t410. I realize there is a separate forum for general buying questions, but I’m hoping for feedback from users and owners of these systems. Specifically, I am interested in your experience and opinions about the screen. I’m looking at models with the 1680x1050 WSXGA+ CCFL screens on the t500/w500, and the 1440x900 WXGA+ LED screen on the t410.

    1) Does it have good color and contrast? I have read positive remarks about the t500 and w500 in that regard, and some concerns about the t410.
    2) How is the screen brightness, especially in brighter environments (near windows, outside)? I understand limitations in direct sunlight, but I hope to at least be comfortable using it for basic tasks outside, and in bright indoor environments.
    3) How is multimedia playback, for DVD’s and web video? Does the picture stutter or have movement?

I appreciate your comments and any additional advice. Because I’m looking only at matte screens, if you have any experience with the current Macbook Pros (15 inch esp.) or Elitebook 8440’s a comparison would be great.
