Can I uninstall the Rescue and Recovery progam from my computer without affecting the rescue and recovery partition on my harddrive.

The reason I ask is becuase the process tvtsched.exe (I think that is it) will consistently use 50% of my cpu all the while is doesn't appear to be doing anything (as far as I know it is not backing anything up). I usually end the process manually but it always comes back, so I figure if I just uninstall rescue and recovery I won't have that problem anymore. I just don't want to lose the functionality of the rescue and recovery partition if I do uninstall. Thanks guys.
