My first Y50 (preordered!) with the 860m was damaged. Thankfully I had the accidental damage warranty!

Lenovo wants me to send me the 59445753 configuration. I might be able to choose a different configuration if I ask nicely. I'm looking at the configurations on Lenovo's page and 59445767 is nearly identical. The only difference is:

    IntelĀ® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160
    vs.
    WIFI AC Wireless (2x2)

    These are very ambiguous listings.

    Here are my questions:

The Intel option tells be that it's an intel based chipset, but what is the antenna configuration? 1x1? 3x3?

The other option tells me the antenna configuration, but what is the chipset? (also it's slightly more expensive)

    Which option is better?

Which option has better support in Linux (I can figure this out if I knew the chipset of the second option)?
