    Hi

I've been given a Vista x64 installation disc without the product key. I already have Vista x86 installed as an OEM version, but can I use the product key from the little sticker underneath my notebook to install the x64 version of Vista ?

Both are Vista Business and same language...

    Regards,
    Jakob Laursen

Yes you can. If you have activated the key before on your x86 version, you will have to use the phone activation option, but it will work regardless.

Yes, Microsoft doesn't care if you use the key for x86 or x64. It's why they offer 64-bit media for people who purchased a version that only came with a 32-bit DVD.
